About Us Youth Mission Statement
We live to glorify God. We are a church and not a building. We are a group of people who are tired of tradition, tired of insincerity, and tired of being unbroken. We hunger after righteousness. We seek His Kingdom. We follow Christ. We are throwing out the Sunday school questions and answers and desiring to experience God on a personal level. We love our first testimonies but strive to have a new one each day.
We believe God is: All-Sovereign, Loving, Omniscient, Gracious, Omnipresent, Merciful, Omnipotent, Just, Self-Existing, Immutable, King, Eternal, Lord, Unified, and Savior Jesus. The Anounted One is God's Son; He is the Christ; He is God. We believe that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; we believe that there is One God; we believe that the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ by grace through faith. We believe that faith without works is dead. We believe that we must follow Christ.
Our goal is to glorify Him -- to strive for perfection, to become a slave to nothing other than Him -- to become a bond-servant. We enjoy all activities and we have them often, but it is not our goal, not our purpose. We are here to glorify God, not games. The Word is our authority, not paintball. We are not living for one week of missions. We seek to have no fire. We desire no mountaintop experience. We desire a race! One that does not go out like a fire, one that does not cause us to sit on a mountaintop waiting for the trip down. We run and run and run until the race is over. Our prize is imperishable!
